Madhubani art is a style of painting from Mithila region of Bihar in India.  Earlier these paintings were made only on the occasions such as wedding ceremony, vratas, and pujas. Designs depict the occasion of celebration and seek divine blessings. This art is mostly practised by women in villages of Mithila region.

This is madhubani painting tutorial which is most famous indian folk art.

It very famous in all over world.

In japan there is a madhubani painting musium.

In india it is basicaly done in Bihar. .

It is mithlanchal folk art..

It is also known as MITHILA ART..



Madhubani / mithila painting is of 2 type.

1)Kachani

2)Bharni



1)In this type of madhubani painting less colours are used.



2)In bharni more colours are used



Madhubani painting gives a ethinic look to our walls.. it looks very eligent on walls.. and adds life to it..
